Certifications

For Certification, a technology must have demonstrated confidence of continued effectiveness: i.e., it will perform as intended, conform to the seller’s specifications, and is safe for use as intended. In addition to the benefits provided under Designation, Certification allows Sellers of antiterrorism technologies to assert the Government Contractor Defense that immunizes Sellers from liability for claims arising from acts of terrorism. Technologies that receive Certification will be also placed on an Approved Products List for Homeland Security. Designation is a prerequisite for Certification.

American Petroleum Institute

The American Petroleum Institute ("API) provides the Security Risk Assessment Methodology for the Petroleum and Petrochemical Industries in its publication, ANSI/API Standard 780-2003, Security Risk Assessment Methodology for the Petroleum and Petrochemical Industries. The Technology assists the petroleum and petrochemical industries in understanding and conducting security risk assessments by describing a recommended approach for assessing security risk applicable to the types of facilities operated by the industries and the security issues the industries face. The methodology described in the Standard is widely applicable to a full spectrum of security issues including terrorist attacks on assets containing hazardous materials such as chemical, refining, and petrochemical manufacturing operations, pipelines, and transportation operations including truck, marine, and rail.


National Basketball Association

The National Basketball Association ("NBA" provides the NBA Arena Security Standards, NBA Security Audits, and NBA Security Training and Awareness Programs (the "Technology"). The Technology is a comprehensive set of mandatory security standards for team and arena management designed to deter and defend against terrorist attacks at venues where NBA games are played, in addition to other general security risks. The Technology is implemented through the NBA Security Audits and NBA Security Training and Awareness Programs, and includes the hiring, vetting, qualifications, and training of NBA security personnel in connection with the three components of the Technology.


Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services, Inc.

Securitas AB, Securitas Holdings Inc., Securitas Services, Inc., Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services, Inc., Securitas Critical Infrastructure Services of Puerto Rico, Inc., Pinkerton's LLC, and Paragon Systems Inc., provide Security Guard Services. The Technology is anti-terrorism functions performed by armed and unarmed security officers deployed in the United States and its territories for the protection of critical infrastructure. These security officers receive baseline and annual refresher training, including advanced anti-terrorism training comprised of: anti-terrorism threat awareness training, weapons of mass destruction ("WMD") training, terrorism method of operations training, and response to terror attacks.


Meridian Rapid Defense Group

Meridian Rapid Defense Group LLC provides Archer 1200 Anti-Terrorist Vehicle Barrier. The Technology is a portable barrier designed to prevent unauthorized vehicle intrusion and vehicle-based attacks. The Technology also includes training.


Alclear, LLC

Alclear, LLC, provides CLEAR (the "Technology"). The Technology is a voluntary, biometrically secured, identification and access system for use as part of the Transportation Security Administration’s ("TSA") Registered Traveler program or other similar programs. The Technology also includes site surveys, installation and integration operations, training, technical manuals, warranty and maintenance services, customer support services, selection criteria for TSA-approved technologies, venders, and commercial-off-the-shelf products, the associated personnel qualification program, and spare parts.


Covenant Aviation Security

Covenant Aviation Security, LLC (CAS) provides its Security Services, Guard Services, and Physical Security Services for Aviation Facilities. The Technology consists of the provision of unarmed security officers who perform access control services, screening of persons, vehicle screening, foot and vehicle patrols, and alarm monitoring at airports. The Technology is subject to applicable State and local laws for the provision of security services and, depending upon the regulatory status of the client to whom the services are provided, to U.S. Government regulations for security operations at airports, including applicable sections of 49 CFR, Chapter 12, Subchapter C for Civil Aviation Security.


Building Intelligence Inc.

Building Intelligence, Inc. provides SV3 (the "Technology"). The Technology is a software-based database used by building managers, occupants, and security personnel to support security identification of vendors, vehicles, and visitors, processing admission and maintaining a record of activity, identities, and objects at a given facility.


The Boeing Company

The Boeing Company ("Boeing") provides the Aircraft Delivery Security Operations ("ADSO" or the "Technology"). The Technology is a program of plans, personnel, and procedures designed to maintain the safety and security of Boeing commercial aircraft delivery flights. The Technology includes service and maintenance of Transportation Security Administration-certified screening equipment, software, data, materials, audits of screening processes, and training.


Service Source Inc.

Approved: January 28, 2020 | Expires: February 28, 2025

ServiceSource, Inc. provides its Mail Processing, Screening, and Distribution Service. The Technology is an integrated set of processes, procedures, equipment, and personnel designed to safeguard facilities, their occupants, and addressees against mail-borne chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive threats. The Technology includes the receipt, screening, processing, and distribution of incoming mail and parcels. It is deployed in accordance with operational requirements set forth by the Department of Homeland Security. Included in the Technology are all manuals and technical documents associated with deployment of the Technology as well as the underlying process.
