Certifications

For Certification, a technology must have demonstrated confidence of continued effectiveness: i.e., it will perform as intended, conform to the seller’s specifications, and is safe for use as intended. In addition to the benefits provided under Designation, Certification allows Sellers of antiterrorism technologies to assert the Government Contractor Defense that immunizes Sellers from liability for claims arising from acts of terrorism. Technologies that receive Certification will be also placed on an Approved Products List for Homeland Security. Designation is a prerequisite for Certification.

International Business Machines ("IBM") provides Global Name Management (the "Technology"). The Technology is a software solution designed to improve the accuracy of name searching, transliteration and the quality of identity verification initiatives by providing ranked search results of names based on linguistic, phonetic, and specific cultural variation patterns. The Technology also includes several ancillary services such as installation, maintenance, and training. This Designation and Certification is specific to Federal government deployments.


Smiths Detection US Holdings LLC

Smiths Detection US Holdings, LLC and Smiths Detection Inc. provide Integrated Logistics Support (“ILS”) Services (the “Technology”). The Technology is the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of an ILS program to sustain Government-certified Explosives Detection Systems (“EDS”), Multiplexing Equipment (“MUX”), and associated Uninterruptible Power Supply (“UPS”) as deployed and operated by the Transportation Security Administration (“TSA”).


Insitu Group, Inc.

The Boeing Company, Insitu, Inc., and Insitu Pacific Limited provide the X-200 Unmanned Aerial System (a.k.a., X-200 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (“UAV”) System or the ScanEagle™) (the “Technology”). The Technology is an autonomous aerial reconnaissance and surveillance system that can be deployed from land or sea. The Technology also includes deployment, sustainment, maintenance, training, and several other repair and report services.


Dynamis, Inc.

Dynamis, Inc. provides the CoBRA® Software Package (the “Technology”). The Technology is a software package that provides first responders with a decision support tool for emergency response, planning, management, training, and exercises. The tools, databases, checklists, and incident reporting capabilities can facilitate the coordination of response to all hazard incidents by first responders. The Technology also includes all support materials, technical support, product updates, and optional user training.


Gold Type Business Machines, Inc.

Gold Type Business Machines Inc provides Info-Force™(the "Technology"). The Technology is comprised of two specialized, but complementary, software applications: Info-Cop™ and Info-Corp™/Greenlight™. Info-Cop™ was designed to provide law enforcement officers and first responders with secure, efficient messaging, chat, resource status, controlled Web access, and GPS information, as well as authorized access to real-time information from Federal, State, and locally maintained and controlled databases. Info-Corp™/Greenlight™ enables non-law enforcement public-private users to connect to Info-Cop™/law enforcement servers by using the specialized software application designed for non-law enforcement users.


Integrated Security Services, Inc

Integrated Security Services, Inc. provides Cargo Screening Services at Certified Cargo Screening Facilities (the “Technology”). The Technology includes, and provides, screeners and programmatic personnel for the screening of cargo in accordance with the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Certified Cargo Screening Program (CCSP) at TSA-approved Certified Cargo Screening Facilities (CCSFs). Employees are trained and vetted in accordance with TSA directives and guidance. Also, screeners conduct screening according to TSA regulations and guidelines using TSA-approved methods and/or equipment.


Securitas Holdings, Inc.

Securitas Holdings, Inc., Pinkerton Consulting & Investigations Inc., Securitas Services, Inc., and Securitas AB provide Securitas Security Assessments and Consulting Services (the “Technology”). The Technology is risk and vulnerability assessments and consulting services to enhance protection of clients’ infrastructure, supply chains, and human resources operations. It is intended for deployment to private and Government facilities including critical infrastructure. The Technology includes crisis management and business continuity services.

American Science & Engineering, Inc. provides X-ray Inspection Systems (the “Technology”). The Technology is a line of devices based on the same core technology designed to facilitate inspection of parcels, cargo, and vehicles for terrorist threats. The Technology also includes system installation and integration; operation and maintenance training; warranty and maintenance services; spare and replacement parts; technical manuals and documentation; software and hardware upgrades; and the qualifications of the personnel who perform these services.


Contemporary Services Corporation

Contemporary Services Corporation provides Event Security Services (the “Technology”). The Technology is a set of core activities and a set of enhanced, customer-driven, activities including physical security, access control, and crowd management. The Technology also includes CSC’s Quality Assurance procedures that include selection, vetting, and training of employees; periodic internal, external (third-party), and Red Team assessments of CSC’s effectiveness; and an annual review process.


National Basketball Association

Approved: April 06, 2017 | Expires: August 31, 2020

The National Basketball Association ("NBA") provides the NBA Arena Security Standards, NBA Security Audits, and NBA Security Training Programs (the "Technology"). The Technology is a comprehensive set of mandatory security standards for team and arena management designed to deter and defend against terrorist attacks at venues where NBA games are played, in addition to other general security risks. The Technology is implemented through the NBA Security Audits and NBA Security Training Programs, and includes the hiring, vetting, qualifications, and training of NBA security personnel in connection with the three components of the Technology.
