Certifications

For Certification, a technology must have demonstrated confidence of continued effectiveness: i.e., it will perform as intended, conform to the seller’s specifications, and is safe for use as intended. In addition to the benefits provided under Designation, Certification allows Sellers of antiterrorism technologies to assert the Government Contractor Defense that immunizes Sellers from liability for claims arising from acts of terrorism. Technologies that receive Certification will be also placed on an Approved Products List for Homeland Security. Designation is a prerequisite for Certification.

Siemens Maintenance Services, LLC's Maintenance and Repair Services provides maintenance and technical services that ensure that screening equipment installed throughout the United States, which includes explosive trace detectors, cabinet x-ray systems, enhanced metal detectors, and explosive detection systems (collectively "screening systems"), function properly and detect threat items. The screening systems typically protect airports and other transportation facilities against the threats posed by weapons, explosives and other dangerous items. The Maintenance and Repair Services, which include field and preventative maintenance and support services on screening systems, are performed in strict conformance with manufacturer and customer requirements by specially trained personnel.

Lockheed Martin Corporation: Risk Assessment Platform

Lockheed Martin Corporation's Risk Assessment Platform (RAP) is an automated threat-based risk assessment and vetting system. RAP includes hardware, software and services for implementing a system that captures and manages information for identifying potential terrorist threats. Its analytical processes assess the terrorist risk relating to processes, events, people, or other entities in near real-time.

Northrop Grumman Security Systems, LLC: Biological Detection System
