Designations

For Designation as a Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology (QATT), a technology must demonstrate effectiveness during operational testing or through prior use. Designation provides limited liability for third-party claims arising out of the deployment of the QATT with respect to an "Act of Terrorism." The maximum liability is determined by DHS, and the Seller is required to maintain liability insurance at that level. Other protections include immunity from punitive damages. A full Designation normally lasts for 5 years and can be renewed. Any technology deployed during its period of Designation is protected for the lifetime of its deployment.

The Technology is a product line of X-ray-based inspection equipment used to non-invasively screen baggage, parcels, mail, personal items, and cargo for the potential presence of threat objects or substances. The Technology uses X-ray beams and detectors, together with image processing software, to provide the operator with detailed images of the item being inspected. Interpretation of the image is, however, the responsibility of the operator. The Technology also includes installation, maintenance, and operator training, as well as related manuals and training materials.

Vertex Aerospace LLC provides Perimeter Intrusion Detection System. The Technology is a systems-engineering and integration service designed to deploy and support systems that detect, assess, track, and facilitate response to perimeter intrusions at airports. The Technology also includes refreshment assessments and recommendations, program management, system design, subcontractor selection, system integration, system maintenance plans, testing services, training, warranty and maintenance services, and technical manuals.

Cumberland Stadium, Inc., Tennessee Football, Inc. d/b/a Tennessee Titans, KSA Industries, Inc., Cumberland Promotional Enterprises, L.L.C., The Sports Authority of the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, and Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Tennessee provides the Security Program for Nissan Stadium, which is a comprehensive, integrated security program comprising physical and electronic security equipment, emergency planning processes and procedures, and trained personnel. This Technology is designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism exclusively for use at Nissan Stadium, including the field, seating bowl, suites, gates, loading dock, inner and secondary perimeters, locker rooms, area housing utility and mechanical systems, command center, and relevant parking areas.

The Boeing Company provides Explosive Detection Canine Services. The Technology is Explosives Detection Canine Services (EDCS) used to detect explosives in a variety of settings. The Technology also includes associated software; installation; life cycle support (includes post-sales support such as troubleshooting, maintenance and repair; ongoing tech support; ongoing training; service bulletins; documentation updates, etc.); training; quality control / quality assurance / warranty program; manuals, instructions, bulletins and other communications, and other documentation (including technical communications, support manuals, training manuals, maintenance manuals, schedules, procedures, including any and all forms of printed, electronic, or other media).

Everbridge, Inc.

Everbridge, Inc., provides Everbridge Critical Event Management (CEM) Platform. The Technology is a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service mass notification and incident management system. It is comprised of software modules for panic buttons, communications with large numbers of users, notification, Information Technology alerting to recover from cybersecurity attacks, and user interface with data visualization. It is designed to facilitate communication among first responders, emergency managers, and citizens during emergency situations – including terrorist attacks – and non-emergency situation. The Technology also includes support services, technical documentation, user training, and software update and maintenance services.

The Technology is a scalable, cloud-based platform that aggregates, maps, stores, and shares real-time visual information from fixed security cameras and from smartphones. The Technology enables users to visually record, map, and share safety reports from their smartphones or tablets with authorized recipients to improve situational awareness and communications for first responders and security personnel.

GardaWorld Federal Services

Aegis Defense Services, LLC d/b/a GardaWorld Federal Services operates as a Certified Cargo Security Facility – Canine (CCSF-K9) provider in accordance with directives issued by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for screening and securing cargo that will be transported on passenger and all-cargo aircraft (the "Technology").

AWWA

The American Water Works Association (AWWA) provides American Water Works Association/American National Standards. The AWWA is a Standards Development Organization accredited by the American National Standards Institute. The Technology consists of the AWWA’s Standards Development Process for American National Standards and the following named American National Standards: ANSI/AWWA G430-09: Security Practices for Operation and Management, and ANSI/AWWA JI00-10: Standard for Risk and Resilience Management of Water and Wastewater Systems. The Standards, which are to be used in the protection of public water utilities, set forth minimum requirements for variable security operations, including those for training requirements for security professionals, physical asset security, and for organizational resiliency and continuity management.

HavenLock
