Designations

For Designation as a Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology (QATT), a technology must demonstrate effectiveness during operational testing or through prior use. Designation provides limited liability for third-party claims arising out of the deployment of the QATT with respect to an "Act of Terrorism." The maximum liability is determined by DHS, and the Seller is required to maintain liability insurance at that level. Other protections include immunity from punitive damages. A full Designation normally lasts for 5 years and can be renewed. Any technology deployed during its period of Designation is protected for the lifetime of its deployment.

The Technology is a seaborne physical barrier system designed to protect ships and water-accessible critical infrastructure from high-speed boat attacks. The Technology is an integrated series of buoys, pontoons, gates, and nets that physically isolate and guard a designated portion of a waterway from intrusion. The Technology also includes site assessment, design engineering, installation preplanning, system installation, and maintenance training.

The Technology is a business process that enables the screening against open source watch lists of customers of the Applicant’s sales, leasing, or rental vehicle business prior to engaging in a transaction together with enhanced measures such as the restriction or closing of its business during times of heightened threats.

Electrolytic Technologies Systems LLC provides the Klorigen™ (the "Technology"). The Technology is a chemical process system for the on-site production of Chlorine or Sodium Hypochlorite solution at water treatment plants and chemical facilities. The Technology can be fully or partially implemented and includes an operating and maintenance manual, site assessments, supervision of installation, field and acceptance testing, training, and customizable service and warranty plans.

Meridian Rapid Defense Group LLC provides Archer 1200 Anti-Terrorist Vehicle Barrier. The Technology is a portable barrier designed to prevent unauthorized vehicle intrusion. The Technology also includes the Archer Field Tow Bar, Archer Hauler, arrestor cables, and training.

The Technology is designed to aid in meeting the congressional mandate that 100 percent of cargo placed on passenger airplanes be screened. The Technology includes, and provides, screeners and programmatic personnel for the screening of cargo in accordance with the Transportation Security Administration ("TSA")’s Certified Cargo Screening Program at TSA-approved Certified Cargo Screening Facilities.

The Technology is a voluntary industry initiative for a chemical manufacturing facility security program established by the trade association. Compliance is mandatory for association members and partners and may voluntarily be used by non-members.


Port Authority of New York and New Jersey

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey implements the LaGuardia Airport Security Program through a variety of procedures involving physical and electronic security measures, tools and procedures (the "Technology"). These efforts include development and enforcement of the airport’s security plan, training of police and other security personnel, conducting background checks of airport workers and overseeing security systems.


Lauren Innovations, LLC

Lauren Innovations, LLC provides NaviGate™ (the "Technology"). The Technology is a web and mobile-based crisis management portal that provides an organization with tools to meet emergency planning and response requirements. Documents such as maps and floor plans of a facility can be stored in the portal for access during tabletop exercises and in the event of an actual crisis. The Technology includes hosting services through a third-party provider. Users are responsible for conducting cybersecurity scans on material uploaded to the Technology.
