Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Claroty LTD and Claroty, Inc. provide the Claroty Platform, a security monitoring solution for operational technology networks. The Technology employs passive and active monitoring techniques, and includes a centralized management dashboard.


The Boeing Company

Approved: October 25, 2019 | Expires: November 30, 2024

The Boeing Company, a Delaware corporation, provides Tier 3 Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism ("C-TPAT") Services (the "Technology"). The Technology provides shipping services that are currently certified under the Customs and Border Protection ("CBP") C-TPAT program, and that are validated by CBP as exceeding C-TPAT minimum security criteria to perform at a Tier 3 level.


The Boeing Company

The Boeing Company provides the Boeing Entity Management Framework. The Technology is a software application framework designed for building customized case management applications for management of very large quantities of data under contract to a specific government customer. The Technology consists of an entity management framework, a data repository, and a data ingest function. It also includes system development and customization, installation, integration, system administration, training, maintenance, and off-site support.

The Boeing Company provides Twister Data Framework. The Technology is a platform for developing data management applications and services intended to securely extract, transform, and load data that form the foundation for data analysis and decision-making by customers, across broad areas of operations. Typical extract, transform, load ("ETL") processes employ bulk extraction and loading. The framework allows analysts to rapidly access metadata with increased quality, speed, versatility, and reliability.


Fortior Solutions, LLC

Approved: October 02, 2019 | Expires: October 31, 2024

Fortior Solutions, LLC provides RAPIDGate® System (the "Technology"). The Technology is an identification and access management program consisting of equipment, software, and support services for personnel entering secure facilities. The Technology combined identity assurance, background screening, smart credentials, biometrics, and electronic access control into a program that was purchased on a subscription basis. The Technology also includes training, maintenance, and replacement of the furnished equipment and software (including periodic software updates and upgrades), and customer service and technical support.


K2 Solutions, Inc.

Approved: September 30, 2019 | Expires: October 31, 2024

K2 Solutions, Inc., a North Carolina corporation operates as a Certified Cargo Screening Facility-Canine ("CCSF-K9") provider in accordance with directives issued by the Transportation Security Administration ("TSA") for the screening and securing of cargo which will be transported on passenger and all-cargo aircraft (the "Technology").


Michael Stapleton Associates, Ltd.

Approved: September 30, 2019 | Expires: October 31, 2024

Michael Stapleton Associates, Ltd. provides SmartTech® Explosives Detection System. The Technology is a remote system allowing for the transmission of X-ray images to a remotely located bomb technician who provides immediate safety advice for the X-ray machine operator. The Technology also includes the recruitment, hiring, and training of SmartTech® personnel.


Covenant Aviation Security

Approved: September 30, 2019 | Expires: April 30, 2020

Covenant Aviation Security, LLC (CAS) provides its Security Services, Guard Services, and Physical Security Services for Aviation Facilities. The Technology consists of the provision of unarmed security officers who perform access control services, screening of persons, vehicle screening, foot and vehicle patrols, and alarm monitoring at airports. The Technology is subject to applicable State and local laws for the provision of security services and, depending upon the regulatory status of the client to whom the services are provided, to U.S. Government regulations for security operations at airports, including applicable sections of 49 CFR, Chapter 12, Subchapter C for Civil Aviation Security.


The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey provides World Trade Center Campus Security Assessment, Design, Architectural, and Engineering Services. The Technology consists of security risk assessments and design and architectural/engineering services used to incorporate security-related design features into building designs for the World Trade Center Site as a part of its redevelopment in New York City.


Southwest Synergistic Solutions, LLC

Approved: September 26, 2019 | Expires: October 31, 2024

Southwest Synergistic Solutions, LLC provides the Everything/Tactical Light (the "Technology"). The Technology is a battery-operated light with several different settings which are used to represent personnel, equipment, and more. The Technology is used by military personnel and first responders for a variety of purposes, including nighttime personnel identification, multi-casualty incident initial field triage, setting up landing zones, marking equipment, and marking cleared rooms and marking hazards.
