Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. Applied Engineering Management (AEM) Corporation Approved: September 10, 2021 \| Expires: August 31, 2026 Applied Engineering Management Corporation provides the Program to Assist Risk and Resilience Examination Water Safety Tool. The Technology is a software application designed to assist facility operators in completing an all-hazards risk and resilience analysis of water sector critical infrastructure. The Technology also includes tools to guide the user such as a process diagram, integrated user guide, and features designed to reduce data entry errors.
AWWA Approved: September 03, 2021 \| Expires: August 31, 2026 The American Water Work Association ("AWWA") provides its Standards Development Process (the "Technology"). The Technology is a process by a Standards Development Organization (accredited by the American National Standards Institute) of developing standards which set forth the minimum requirements of products and processes used in water supply and treatment to help provide safe drinking water and sanitation of a water supply. The individual standards and any implementation are not included.
Cincinnati Reds LLC Approved: September 03, 2021 \| Expires: August 31, 2026 The Cincinnati Reds LLC, Baseball Park Management Company, and The Cincinnati Reds Community Fund d/b/a Reds Community Fund provide Great American Ball Park Security Program. The Technology is the security program for the Great American Ball Park including the policies and procedures for security and anti-terrorism measures, the physical and electronic security measures, engagement with public safety and community partners, and emergency response protocols.
Stadium Management Company, LLC Approved: August 09, 2021 \| Expires: August 31, 2026 Stadium Management Company, LLC (SMC), and PDB Sports, Ltd., d/b/a Denver Broncos Football Club, provides SMC Security Program for Empower Field at Mile High (the "Technology"). The Technology is a comprehensive, integrated security program comprised of security policies and procedures, services and controls systems, and structural, physical, and technological security measures designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate acts of terrorism at Empower Field at Mile High.
Satellite Air-Land Motor Svc Approved: August 09, 2021 \| Expires: July 31, 2026 Satellite Air-Land Motor Service, Inc., an Illinois corporation provide a Certified Cargo Screening Facility (the Technology). Certified Cargo Screening Facilities are secure facilities established in accordance with directives that the Transportation Security Administration issued for the screening and securing of cargo which will be transported on passenger aircraft.

The Technology is contract-specific armed security officer services providing access control and physical security for Federal government facilities. The Technology is provided by armed security officers trained to United States Government (USG) agencies’ standards. The Technology also includes hiring, vetting, training, and quality control processes specifically for licensing of security officers and firearms.

The Technology is a suite of safety and security services designed, in part, to deter, detect, disrupt, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism. The services are deployed at: arenas, stadiums, performing arts venues, convention centers, race tracks, etc., and outdoor festivals, concerts, and golf tournaments. The Technology is a set of core activities invariable across all deployments, and a set of enhanced, customer-driven activities not necessarily suitable at all venues or event types.
