Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

The Technology is a comprehensive, integrated security program comprised of security policies and procedures, services and controls systems, and structural, physical, and technological security measures designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate acts of terrorism at Progressive Field.

Harris County Sports & Convention Corporation; ASM Global Parent, Inc.; and Houston NFL Holdings, L.P., d/b/a Houston Texans provide NRG Stadium Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is a comprehensive security program composed of policies; procedures; physical and electronic security equipment; and trained personnel to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate acts of terrorism, exclusively at NRG Stadium, inclusive of the NRG Stadium and parking lots throughout NRG Park.


Chicago Cubs Baseball Club, LLC

Approved: April 22, 2021 | Expires: April 30, 2026

The Chicago Cubs provide the Wrigley Field Campus Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology consists of a series of policies, physical and electronic measures, and personnel that collectively provide security at Wrigley Field Campus. The Technology is deployed 24/7 for Major League Baseball ("MLB") games, other sporting events, and non-event days.


American Science & Engineering, Inc.

Approved: April 22, 2021 | Expires: April 30, 2026

Rapiscan Systems, Inc., provides Z Portal X-Ray System. The Technology is device that uses backscatter and forwardscatter X-Ray imaging techniques to scan vehicles and produce images of the contents. The Technology also includes installation, training, maintenance, relevant documentation, and personnel qualifications.


IndustrySuite, LLC dba Real-Time Technology Group

Approved: March 25, 2021 | Expires: April 30, 2026

IndustrySuite, LLC, dba Real-Time Technology Group, provides RTVTM. The Technology is a web-based Software-as-a-Service application that provides personnel identity verification, background screening management, certification tracking, credential management, and performance histories.


FedEx Custom Critical, Inc.

FedEx Custom Critical, Inc., provides Strategic National Stockpile Transportation and Distribution Services (the "Technology").

Securitas AB, Securitas Holdings, Inc., Securitas Services, Inc., Securitas Electronic Security, Inc., and Securitas Electronic Government Security, Inc., provide Electronic Security Service (the "Technology"). The Technology consists of design, engineering, installation, service, monitoring and maintenance services for electronic security systems. The Technology also includes manuals, training and support services.


Lucas Oil Stadium

Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County, Indiana Company provides The Lucas Oil Stadium Safety and Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is security program that provides comprehensive security coverage comprising physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning process and procedures, and trained personnel for the Lucas Oil Stadium, a multi-purpose stadium that hosts National Football League games and other major sporting and entertainment events.


Aviation Security Management, LLC

Approved: October 26, 2020 | Expires: November 30, 2025

Aviation Security Management, LLC, a Virginia limited liability company provides Screening Partnership Program Services at airports and other locations as the Transportation Security Administration ("TSA") determines if they are in compliance with standard operating procedures, directives, policies, and updates that the TSA Screening Partnership Program issues and are in compliance with the TSA issued contractual Statement of Work.

ILS Services consists of maintenance and technical services that ensure TSA screening equipment installed throughout the United States, including: advanced imaging systems, explosive trace detectors, cabinet X-ray systems, and enhanced metal detectors; function properly and are available to detect threat items
