Designations

For Designation as a Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology (QATT), a technology must demonstrate effectiveness during operational testing or through prior use. Designation provides limited liability for third-party claims arising out of the deployment of the QATT with respect to an "Act of Terrorism." The maximum liability is determined by DHS, and the Seller is required to maintain liability insurance at that level. Other protections include immunity from punitive damages. A full Designation normally lasts for 5 years and can be renewed. Any technology deployed during its period of Designation is protected for the lifetime of its deployment.

Lockheed Martin Corporation provides Biometric Credentialing Systems & Services. The Technology integrates products (hardware and software) and services that provide a biometric credentialing capability that assists the customer in identifying and authenticating the identity of the holder of a Personal Identity Verification (“PIV”) card. The Technology includes the collection, maintenance, management, and transmission of biographical and biometric information for the production, issuance, and activation of a PIV card, the PIV card itself, and related training and customer support. The development of Concept of Operations (“CONOPS”) associated with the Technology’s use, as well as the use of such CONOPS in deploying the Technology so as to help ensure the Technology’s effectiveness, is the responsibility of the customer.


SafePlans LLC

SafePlans, LLC provides the Emergency Response Information Portal ("ERIP"), a secure web-based system that improves preparedness by integrating critical incident planning, mapping, and training (the “Technology”). The Technology stores the customized National Incident Management System ("NIMS") compliant, all-hazards emergency plans generated by the customer from the templates. Plans can be dynamically generated into PDF format so they may be printed and/or saved on local hard drives.


Anschutz Entertainment Group, Inc.

The Anschutz Entertainment Group, Inc. (“AEG”) provides its Securing AEG Fans and Employees (“SAFE”) Best Practices & Guidelines for Security (the “Technology”). The Technology is a set of best practices for establishing security at AEG-owned or managed sites. The Technology does not include implementation of AEG Best Practices by individual venues.


Covenant Aviation Security, LLC

Covenant Aviation Security, LLC provides Certified Cargo Screening Facilities (the "Technology"). The Technology, Certified Cargo Screening Facilities, is designed to aid in meeting the congressional mandate that 100 percent of cargo placed on passenger airplanes be screened. The Technology includes, and provides, screeners and programmatic personnel for the screening of cargo in accordance with the Transportation Security Administration’s (“TSA’s”) Certified Cargo Screening Program at TSA-approved Certified Cargo Screening Facilities.


CNIguard, LLC

CNIguard, LLC provides the CNI2000W and the CNI2000WL Intruder Detection System. The Technology is wired or wireless intruder detection system for protecting access to treated water via hatches typically deployed at water treatment works or service reservoirs. The system can integrate with existing SCADA (Supervisory, Control, and Data Acquisition) infrastructures and signal alarm conditions independently using SMS text messaging via cellular networks. The Technology also includes the installation of the sensing network.

FLIR Systems, Inc., and its wholly owned subsidiaries, Nomadics, Inc., and ICx Technologies, Inc., provide Fido®. The Technology is a line of trace detection systems that detect vapors and particles from various explosive compounds. The Technology also includes all accessories associated with the product line, software, all technical/operator’s manuals, warranty and maintenance services, training and technical support services, and qualified personnel.


National Fire Protection Association

The National Fire Protection Association, Inc.(“NFPA”) is an American National Standards Institute (“ANSI”) Accredited Standards Development Organization, that has developed NFPA/American National Standards using the NFPA Codes and Standards Development Process, which meets the requirements of due process and criteria for approval and withdrawal of American National Standards (the “Technology”). The Technology is a set of codes and standards that address anti-terrorism technologies in the areas of personal protective garments, equipment, professional qualifications for first responders, and for preparedness planning for infrastructure and enterprise protection, fire protection systems, and for critical electrical and building systems.

The Technology also includes installation, training, and maintenance services.

Allied Security Holdings, LLC, AlliedBarton Security Services, LLC, AlliedBarton (NC) LLC, and AlliedBarton Security Services provides Physical Security Services (the "Technology"). The Technology is physical security services to commercial and government facilities, including but not limited to, various critical infrastructure locations. The Technology may include: physical security guard services that perform on-site and off-site surveillance operations; access control/perimeter control; vehicle and foot patrols; screening of persons, packages, and vehicles; alarm system monitoring and response; site supervision; emergency response operations; and security guard management. The Technology also includes its qualified personnel and its recruiting, retention, and training practices and procedures.
