Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Qylur Intelligent Systems, Inc.

Qylur Intelligent Systems, Inc. provides the Qylur Entry Experience Solution (QEES or the Technology). The Technology is a security screening platform consisting of self-service units, networked operator workstations and a suite of services. The five-chambered unit integrates access control and simultaneous scanning of multiple bags using dynamic iterative multi-view scanning. The Technology scans bags using venue-specific Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based automated detection for weapons and explosive materials, and collaborative detection of other prohibited items. The Technology includes methods for centralized remote screening, dynamic risk based and role-based screening, supervision via smartphone app, ongoing algorithm updates, installation, training, and pre-emptive maintenance of the Technology.

Prevent Advisors

Approved: August 17, 2022 | Expires: August 31, 2027

Prevent Advisors, LLC, provides the Red Team Assessment Program, which is a security service designed to provide actionable information to a client on likely weaknesses of its physical security controls and/or inconsistency between such security controls and formal policies and procedures.

WebTeam Associates, Inc.

Approved: July 29, 2022 | Expires: July 31, 2025

Web Team Associates, Inc. provides Web Team Equipment Security Program. The Technology is a proprietary, software-centric system designed and implemented for the screening of customers seeking access to rental equipment such as vehicles and trailers. The Technology also includes screening process policies and procedures, hiring and vetting of employees and third-party contractors, creation and maintenance of the customer information database, an employee training program, and screening program audits.

EAGL Technology, Inc.

Approved: July 01, 2022 | Expires: July 31, 2027

The Technology is an acoustic gunshot detection system designed to identify gunshots and report approximate locations with the objective of reducing casualties by improving emergency response to a gunshot incident.

Andy Frain Services, Inc.

Approved: June 30, 2022 | Expires: July 31, 2027

Andy Frain Services, Inc. provides Andy Frain Security Services. The Technology is the provision of trained armed and unarmed security professionals to screen persons and packages and to prevent the introduction of explosives and weapons ("prohibited items") and other contraband into secured facilities and venues. The Technology also includes support services, documentation, etc.

Xonar Technology Inc.

Approved: June 30, 2022 | Expires: June 30, 2025

Xonar Technology Inc. provides XonarSafe. The Technology is a walk-through, radar-based detection system designed to discover weapons carried by a person. The Technology includes installation services, user training, remote system monitoring, and software and firmware upgrades.

BioPort Corporation

Approved: June 27, 2022 | Expires: June 30, 2027

Emergent BioDefense Operations Lansing LLC provides BioThrax® (the "Technology"). The Technology is a sterile liquid suspension made from cell-free filtrates of microaerophilic cultures of an avirulent, nonencapsulated strain of Bacillus anthracis. The Technology is U.S. Food and Drug Administration ("FDA")-licensed for active immunization of individuals between 18 and 65 years of age to prevent disease caused by Bacillus anthracis. The Technology is to be administered and used in a manner consistent with its FDA licensing as a pre-exposure prophylaxis or as directed by the U.S. Government as a post-exposure prophylaxis. The Technology also includes manufacturing, testing, labeling, packaging, and storage of BioThrax®, as well as the associated technical documents and manuals

RSDL (Reactive Skin Decontamination Lotion Kit) is a topical skin decontamination product intended to neutralize or remove chemical warfare agents and toxins from the skin. Using the lotion can significantly reduce the effects of exposure to chemical warfare.

Science Applications International Corporation provides Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Targeting and Analysis Systems Program Directorate (TASPD) Support Services. The Technology is a set of services used to upgrade, modify, enhance, operate, and maintain Selectivity and Targeting Systems software applications in response to evolving technologies, threats, and CBP TASPD mission requirements.

Forty Niners Stadium Management Company LLC

Approved: May 23, 2022 | Expires: May 31, 2027

Forty Niners Stadium Management Company LLC; Forty Niners SC Stadium Company LLC; Forty Niners Football Company LLC; the Santa Clara Stadium Authority, and the City of Santa Clara provide Levi’s® Stadium Security Program. The Technology is a comprehensive security program comprised of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and properly trained personnel.
