Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Approved: September 29, 2023 | Expires: August 31, 2025

Padres L.P., Padres GP, LLC, San Diego Ballpark Funding LLC, and RSNCO LLC provide Petco Park Security Program (the Technology). The Technology is deployed during Game Days, Event Days, Non-Event Days, Special Events, Gallagher Square (formerly Park at the Park) Events, and Functions for use at Petco Park Stadium. The Technology is a comprehensive, integrated security program based on Major League Baseball’s Best Stadium Operating Practices, other sports industry best practices, other industry practices, and government recommendations; and is comprised of physical and electronic anti-terrorism security measures, tools, policies and procedures, and trained personnel designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate acts of terrorism against Petco Park and ballpark ticketholders, visitors, staff, and employees.

Padres L.P., a Delaware limited partnership, Padres GP, LLC, San Diego Ballpark Funding LLC, and RSNCO LLC provide the Petco Park Security Program during Game Days, Event Days, Non-Event Days, Special Events, Gallagher Square (formerly Park at the Park) Events, and Functions for use at Petco Park Stadium (the "Stadium"). The Technology is a comprehensive, integrated security program based on Major League Baseball’s Best Stadium Operating Practices, other sports industry best practices, other industry practices, and government recommendations; and is comprised of physical and electronic anti-terrorism security measures, tools, policies and procedures, and trained personnel designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate acts of terrorism against Petco Park and ballpark ticket holders, visitors, staff, and employees.
