Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Buffalo Bills, LLC, Erie County Stadium Corporation, and Erie County provide New Era Field Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is the Applicant’s implementation of the National Football League’s (NFL) Best Practices for Stadium Security, resulting in a program composed of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and properly trained personnel. The Technology applies to the entire stadium property, including the seating bowl and suites; gates; loading dock; inner and secondary perimeters; field; locker rooms; area housing utility and mechanical systems; command center; and parking areas..


New Meadowlands Stadium Company LLC

Approved: September 06, 2018 | Expires: September 30, 2023

New Meadowlands Stadium Company, LLC, a Delaware limited liability corporation, provides the MetLife Stadium Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is an integrated security program composed of physical and electronic security measures, policies and procedures, and personnel, designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism for use exclusively at Met Life Stadium, inclusive of the Stadium and parking lots, during National Football League ("NFL") Game Days, Non-Game Days, and Special Events.


Kansas City Chiefs Football Club, Inc.

Approved: June 06, 2018 | Expires: June 30, 2023

Kansas City Chiefs Football Club, Inc., provides Arrowhead Stadium Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is the Applicant’s implementation of the National Football League’s (NFL) Best Practices for Stadium Security, resulting in a program composed of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and properly trained personnel. The Technology applies to the entire stadium property, including the seating bowl and suites; gates; loading dock; inner and secondary perimeters; field; locker rooms; area housing utility and mechanical systems; command center; and parking areas.


Chicago Park District/SMG

Approved: May 03, 2018 | Expires: May 31, 2023

SMG and the Chicago Park District, provide the Soldier Field Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is a comprehensive program comprised of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and properly trained personnel, for the Soldier Field Footprint, including the seating bowl and suites, gates, loading dock, inner and secondary perimeters, field, locker rooms, areas housing utility and mechanical systems, command center, and parking and parkland areas. It is designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism, and is implemented and maintained by proprietary and contract personnel under the supervision of the Applicant to provide comprehensive security coverage during public, ticketed events using the National Football League ("NFL") Best Practices for Stadium Security and during non-event days.


Atlanta Falcons Stadium Company, LLC

Approved: December 15, 2017 | Expires: January 31, 2019

Atlanta Falcons Stadium Company, LLC, provides Mercedes-Benz Stadium Security Program (the "Technology"). The Technology is a comprehensive program comprised of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and trained personnel for Mercedes-Benz Stadium, a multi-purpose stadium that will host National Football League, Major League Soccer, and other major sporting and entertainment events.


Cleveland Browns Stadium Company LLC

Approved: September 18, 2017 | Expires: October 31, 2022

Cleveland Browns Stadium Company LLC, Cleveland Browns Football Company LLC, JHAC, LLC, and the City of Cleveland provides Cleveland Browns Stadium Company Security Program for FirstEnergy Stadium (the "Technology"). The Technology is the implementation of the National Football League’s (NFL) Best Practices for Stadium Security, resulting in a comprehensive program comprised of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and properly trained personnel, whose program encompasses the entire Stadium property, including the seating bowl and suites, gates, loading dock, inner and secondary perimeters, field, locker rooms, areas housing utility and mechanical systems, command center, and service level garage.


Cumberland Stadium, Inc.

Approved: September 08, 2017 | Expires: September 30, 2022

Cumberland Stadium, Inc., Tennessee Football, Inc. d/b/a Tennessee Titans provides Security Program for Nissan Stadium (the “Technology”). The Technology is the implementation of the National Football League’s (NFL) Best Practices for Stadium Security, resulting in a program comprised of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and properly trained personnel. The Technology covers the entire stadium property, including the seating bowl and suites, gates, loading dock, inner and secondary perimeters, field, locker rooms, area housing utility and mechanical systems, command center, and parking areas.


Forty Niners Stadium Management Company LLC

Approved: June 02, 2016 | Expires: June 30, 2021

Forty Niners Stadium Management Company LLC, Forty Niners SC Stadium Company LLC, Forty Niners Football Company LLC, the Santa Clara Stadium Authority, and the City of Santa Clara provide Levi’s® Stadium Security Program (the “Technology”). The Technology is a comprehensive, integrated security program comprised of security policies and procedures, physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and properly trained personnel. The Technology, a 24-hour/7-days per week security program, is deployed during National Football League (“NFL”) events and Special Events (concerts, Non-NFL sporting events, functions and entertainment events) and Non-Event Days.


Green Bay Packers, Inc.

Approved: April 25, 2016 | Expires: May 31, 2021

Green Bay Packers, Inc. provides Lambeau Field Security Program (the “Technology”). The Technology is the Applicant’s implementation of the National Football League’s (“NFL”) Best Practices for Stadium Security, resulting in a program comprised of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and properly trained personnel. This covers the entire stadium property, including the seating bowl and suites, gates, loading dock, inner and secondary perimeters, field, locker rooms, area housing utility and mechanical systems, command center, and parking areas.
