Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Contemporary Services Corporation Approved: December 21, 2023 | Expires: December 31, 2028 Contemporary Services Corporation and Event Services America, Inc., provides Event Security Services. The Technology is an event security service that consists of a comprehensive security program composed of policies, procedures, physical and electronic security equipment, and trained personnel that provide protection, deterrence, and response to acts of terrorism against places of public assembly, including arenas, stadiums, performing arts venues, convention centers, racetracks, and outdoor events.
Contemporary Services Corporation Approved: May 17, 2021 | Expires: September 30, 2023 Contemporary Services Corporation ("CSC") provides Event Security Services (the "Technology"). The Technology is a suite of safety and security services designed, in part, to deter, detect, disrupt, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism. The services are deployed at: arenas, stadiums, performing arts venues, convention centers, race tracks, etc., and outdoor festivals, concerts, and golf tournaments. The Technology is a set of core activities invariable across all deployments, and a set of enhanced, customer-driven activities not necessarily suitable at all venues or event types.

The Technology is a set of core activities and a set of enhanced, customer-driven, activities including physical security, access control, and crowd management. The Technology also includes CSC’s Quality Assurance procedures that include selection, vetting, and training of employees; periodic internal, external (third-party), and Red Team assessments of CSC’s effectiveness; and an annual review process.
Contemporary Services Corporation Approved: December 22, 2016 | Expires: January 31, 2022 Contemporary Services Corporation provides Screening Partnership Program Services (the “Technology”). The Technology is provided under the Transportation Security Administration’s (“TSA”)’s Screening Partnership Program (“SPP”). It consists of trained and certified personnel who conduct passenger, airport employee, and baggage screening in accordance with TSA guidelines and standard operating procedures.
