Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. Drone Go Home, LLC, d/b/a AeroDefense, provides AirWarden Drone Defense System. The Technology is a passive radio frequency-based sensor and alert system, designed to detect and locate unmanned aerial systems ("UAS"), both the unmanned aerial vehicle and the controller (pilot). The Technology is used to perform counter-UAS ("CUAS") functions through detection, identification, and tracking of commonly available commercial UAS that may enter protected airspace. The Technology also includes site surveys, installation, and user guides. The Technology does not include a capability to defeat or interfere with the flight of UAS, or perform signal analysis functions which would require legal authorization.
