Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. Chicago Park District and ASM Global Convention Center Management, LLC Approved: May 13, 2024 \| Expires: April 30, 2029 Chicago Park District and ASM Global Convention Center Management, LLC, provide the Soldier Field Security Program, a comprehensive program comprised of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and properly trained personnel, for the Soldier Field Footprint, including the seating bowl and suites, gates, loading dock, inner and secondary perimeters, field, locker rooms, areas housing utility and mechanical systems, command center, and parking and parkland areas. It is designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism, and it is the implementation of the National Football League’s (NFL) Best Practices for Stadium Security. The Technology is implemented and maintained by proprietary and contract personnel under the supervision of the Applicant to provide comprehensive security coverage during public, ticketed events and during non-event days.
National Football League Approved: January 22, 2024 \| Expires: January 31, 2029 National Football League (NFL) provides NFL Best Practices Program. The Technology is grounded in the NFL Best Practices for Stadium Security, or the NFL Best Practices. The NFL Best Practices is a comprehensive set of guidelines for stadium security management designed to deter and defend against terrorist attacks at sports stadiums. The NFL delivers and implements its NFL Best Practices through its Stadium Security Evaluation and Compliance Program and through its Stadium Security Training Program, which are designed to promote compliance with the NFL Best Practices at each stadium in which NFL games are played. The Technology does not include each NFL club’s or stadium owner’s or operator’s implementation of the Technology.
New Meadowlands Stadium Company LLC Approved: December 21, 2023 \| Expires: December 31, 2028 New Meadowlands Stadium Company, LLC, provides the MetLife Stadium Security Program (the “Technology”). The Technology is an integrated security program composed of physical and electronic security measures, policies and procedures, and personnel, designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism for use exclusively at Met Life Stadium, inclusive of the Stadium and parking lots, during National Football League (“NFL”) Game Days, Non-Game Days, and Special Events.
First & Goal Inc. Approved: October 02, 2023 \| Expires: October 31, 2028 First & Goal Inc. provides Lumen Field Security Program. The Technology is the Applicant’s implementation of the National Football League’s (NFL) Best Practices for Stadium Security, resulting in a program comprised of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and properly trained personnel. The Technology applies to the entire stadium property, including the seating bowl and suites; gates; loading dock; inner and secondary perimeters; field; locker rooms; area housing utility and mechanical systems; command center; and parking areas.
South Florida Stadium LLC Approved: August 17, 2023 \| Expires: August 31, 2028 South Florida Stadium LLC, Miami Dolphins, Ltd., and SFS Events, LLC provide South Florida Stadium LLC Security Program for Hard Rock Stadium. The Technology is the Applicant’s implementation of the National Football League’s (NFL) Best Practices for Stadium Security, resulting in a program comprised of a comprehensive program comprised of threat and vulnerability assessments, security planning, physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and properly trained personnel, and which covers the entire Hard Rock Stadium property, including the seating bowl and suites, gates, loading dock, inner and secondary perimeters, field, locker rooms, areas housing utility and mechanical systems, command center, and parking areas.
Green Bay Packers, Inc. Approved: July 28, 2023 \| Expires: August 31, 2028 Green Bay Packers, Inc. provides the Lambeau Field Security Program. The Technology is the Applicant’s implementation of the National Football League’s (NFL) Best Practices for Stadium Security, resulting in a program comprised of physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and properly trained personnel. This covers the entire stadium property, including the seating bowl and suites, gates, loading dock, inner and secondary perimeters, field, locker rooms, area housing utility and mechanical systems, command center, and parking areas.

The Technology is security program that provides comprehensive security coverage comprising physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning process and procedures, and trained personnel for the Lucas Oil Stadium, a multi-purpose stadium that hosts National Football League games and other major sporting and entertainment events.
Eagles Stadium Operator, LLC, and Philadelphia Eagles, LLC Approved: August 04, 2020 \| Expires: August 31, 2025 Eagles Stadium Operator, LLC, and Philadelphia Eagles, LLC provide the Security Program for Lincoln Financial Field. The Technology is a comprehensive security program based on the National Football League’s ("NFL") Best Practices for Stadium Security, which is composed of policies, procedures, physical, and electronic security equipment, and trained personnel to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate Acts of Terrorism on event and non-event days at Lincoln Financial Field.
