Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Aviall, Inc. provides Tier 3 Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism Services (the “Technology”). The Technology is the provision of services for the securing of cargo from importers who exceed the Tier 3 minimum security requirements promulgated by Customs and Border Protections’ Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism Program. The Technology includes the implementation of policies, procedures, training, and a risk management framework to secure the goods of the supply chain being imported into the United States.


Forty Niners Stadium Management Company LLC

Approved: June 02, 2016 | Expires: June 30, 2021

Forty Niners Stadium Management Company LLC, Forty Niners SC Stadium Company LLC, Forty Niners Football Company LLC, the Santa Clara Stadium Authority, and the City of Santa Clara provide Levi’s® Stadium Security Program (the “Technology”). The Technology is a comprehensive, integrated security program comprised of security policies and procedures, physical and electronic security equipment, tools, emergency planning processes and procedures, and properly trained personnel. The Technology, a 24-hour/7-days per week security program, is deployed during National Football League (“NFL”) events and Special Events (concerts, Non-NFL sporting events, functions and entertainment events) and Non-Event Days.


IBM Corporation

International Business Machines Corporation provides the IBM Security QRadar Security Intelligence Platform (the “Technology”). The Technology is a set of products that enable security and network professionals to comprehensively prevent, detect, and remediate security incidents and policy violations through a single console for a customer’s security operations. The Technology also includes the Seller’s standard one-year warranty, the development of in-person training materials, as well as related support and maintenance services.


CEIA USA, Ltd.

Approved: June 01, 2016 | Expires: June 30, 2021

CEIA USA, Ltd. provides EMA Bottled Liquid Scanner (the “Technology”). The Technology is designed to detect liquid threats such as combustibles, flammables, and explosives that are concealed in bottles and similar containers. The Technology also includes installation, site acceptance testing, maintenance, and user training.


Aviation Information Sharing and Analysis Center

Approved: May 23, 2016 | Expires: June 30, 2021

Aviation Information Sharing and Analysis Center, Inc. provides the Aviation Information Sharing and Analysis Center (the “Technology”). The Technology is an information sharing and analysis center that facilitates the collection, analysis and dissemination of aviation-related security threat information among private sector entities and works in collaboration with Federal, state, and local governmental agencies.


Prepared Response, Inc.

Approved: May 23, 2016 | Expires: June 30, 2021

Prepared Response, Inc. provides Rapid Responder (the “Technology”). The Technology is a web-based software application that provides access to critical facility information enabling authorized first responders and managers to view pre-determined tactical response plans while responding to an emergency and assist in the coordination of an on-site response to emergency incidents. The Technology includes training and maintenance services.


Honeywell

Approved: May 05, 2016 | Expires: May 31, 2021

Honeywell International Inc. provides the Enterprise Building Integrator software (“EBI” or the “Technology”). The Technology consists of the EBI Security Manager, for control of building security, access control and digital video systems; the EBI Life Safety Manager which allows monitoring of life safety and fire systems; and the EBI Building Manager, which integrates control over building management functions such as heating, cooling, and energy management. EBI is typically deployed to industries such as large commercial buildings, industrial facilities, airports, university campuses, pharmaceutical and healthcare facilities, and government locations.


NABCO, Inc.

Approved: May 05, 2016 | Expires: May 31, 2021

NABCO, Inc. provides NABCO Explosive Containment Vessels (“ECVs” or the “Technology”). The Technology is a series of vessels allowing for the safe, containment, transport, and disposal of explosive devices. The Technology also includes post-blast inspection of units with a repeat-use capability, manuals, and all other related documentation.


Lion Apparel, Inc.

Approved: May 05, 2016 | Expires: May 31, 2021

Lion First Responder PPE, Inc., Lion Group, Inc., and Lion Apparel, Inc. provides Chemical and Biological Protective Ensembles and Liquid Splash Protective Clothing (the “Technology”). The Technology is a family of protective suits designed to provide protection for first responders from the results of incidents involving vapor or liquid chemical and biological hazards. The Technology also includes manuals and training materials for each ensemble.


MitiTech, LLC

Approved: May 05, 2016 | Expires: May 31, 2021

MitiTech, LLC provides the Safetydrape™ and Safetydrape™ Defender II (the “Technology”). The Technology consists of blast mitigation curtain systems. It is installed inside of buildings along areas covered by windows in a manner similar to traditional drapes, in order to lessen the number of injuries and fatalities associated with glass shards propelled by an external explosion or bomb blast. The Technology also includes instructions on installation and maintenance; certification of personnel who perform manufacturing, installation, and maintenance; and manuals and technical documentation.
