Approved Technologies

The SAFETY Act provides two levels of liability protections for approval: Designation and Certification. By obtaining either Designation or Certification, companies obtain a level of legal protection in case their technology is ever put to use during a terrorist attack. See below for a list of approved technology certifications.

Professional Security Consultants provides PSC Security Guard Services for Commercial Shopping Malls. The Technology is physical security project management oversight and trained security officers at shopping mall facilities throughout the United States. The Technology includes security officers providing patrols, access control, and closed-circuit television system monitoring.


Honeywell International, Inc.

Approved: October 04, 2024 | Expires: October 31, 2029

Honeywell International, Inc. provides Digital Video Manager™ System. The Technology is a scalable digital video surveillance system that delivers advanced user features for monitoring security threats and providing recorded video in support of post-incident investigations. The Technology also includes the personnel who conduct installation, maintenance, and training services; supporting system reports and recommendations; and, attendant manuals, checklists, and technical documents related to the DVM System.


ZeroEyes, Inc.

Approved: October 01, 2024 | Expires: September 30, 2029

ZeroEyes, Inc. provides the ZeroEyes platform (the Technology). The Technology is an artificial intelligence-based platform that integrates with customer video security devices and is used to recognize firearms in video feeds.


The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball

Approved: September 27, 2024 | Expires: September 30, 2028

The Office of the Commissioner of Baseball (MLB), an unincorporated association in the state of New York, provides the MLB Security Planning, Review, and Oversight Program, a comprehensive set of best practices for stadium security at Major League Baseball games (MLB games) and events (MLB events, and collectively with MLB games, MLB games and events) for Major League Baseball Clubs (MLB Clubs) and stadium operators to promote a consistent baseline of security protocols across MLB.


Pacers Basketball, LLC

Approved: September 27, 2024 | Expires: September 30, 2027

Pacers Basketball, LLC, and Fieldhouse Management, LLC, provide the Pacers Sports and Entertainment Security Program. The Technology is an integrated system of protective measures designed to detect, deter, and respond to acts of terrorism at the Pacers Sports and Entertainment Campus. The Technology is deployed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, during National Basketball Association (NBA) and Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) events, entertainments and businesses events, non-NBA sporting events, and non-event days.


Covenant Aviation Security, LLC

Approved: September 19, 2024 | Expires: April 30, 2030

Covenant Aviation Security, LLC (CAS) provides its Security Services, Guard Services, and Physical Security Services for Aviation Facilities. The Technology consists of the provision of unarmed security officers who perform access control services, screening of persons, vehicle screening, foot and vehicle patrols, and alarm monitoring at airports. The Technology is subject to applicable State and local laws for the provision of security services and, depending upon the regulatory status of the client to whom the services are provided, to U.S. Government regulations for security operations at airports, including applicable sections of 49 CFR, Chapter 12, Subchapter C for Civil Aviation Security.


Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. et al

Approved: September 13, 2024 | Expires: June 30, 2030

Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc; Kimley-Horn Puerto Rico, LLC; Kimley-Horn Engineering and Landscape Architecture of New York, P.C.; Kimley-Horn of Michigan, Inc; and Kimley-Horn of DC, LLC provide Threat Mitigation Consulting Services, or the Technology. The Technology is a set of professional engineering services and proprietary vehicle, traffic modeling, and forensic software tools used to prevent and mitigate the effects of vehicle-ramming and vehicle-borne improved explosive device attacks at mass gatherings and critical infrastructure.


Michael Stapleton Associates, Ltd. d/b/a MSA Security

Approved: August 28, 2024 | Expires: September 30, 2029

Michael Stapleton Associates, Ltd. d/b/a MSA Security, operates as a provider of Certified Cargo Security Facility-Canine in accordance with directives the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) issued for the screening and securing of cargo which will be transported on passenger and all-cargo aircraft. To provide the Technology, the Seller must comply with all related statutory, regulatory, and program requirements for screening of air cargo, intended for transport via aircraft operating pursuant to a TSA-approved or accepted security program. Authority to provide the Technology is provided via written approval from TSA.


Minnesota Twins, LLC and Twins Ballpark, LLC

Approved: August 21, 2024 | Expires: November 30, 2029

Minnesota Twins, LLC and Twins Ballpark, LLC provide the Target Field Security Program, a comprehensive, integrated security program comprised of security policies and procedures and structural, physical, and technological security measures designed to detect, deter, prevent, respond to, and mitigate acts of terrorism, among other items, at Target Field, including the stadium, adjacent parking lots, executive offices and immediate perimeter.


Live Nation Entertainment, INC

Approved: August 15, 2024 | Expires: August 31, 2029

Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. provides Live Nation Entertainment (LNE) Venue Security Standards Program. The Technology is a corporate-level security program for LNE venues. The foundation of the Technology is a comprehensive series of formalized security standards comprised of policies and procedures designed to support and ensure consistency across individual venue security programs. The Technology does not include implementation of the LNE Venue Security Standards by individual venues.
